The Armada Church Network Story

In 1977, Pastors Bill and Linda McRay pioneered a new church in Nashville, Tennessee. Victory Fellowship Church grew into a congregation rich in faith and the Holy Spirit as God moved in love, power, and the revelation of His Word. Many leaders and pastors have been sent out from Victory Fellowship and the impact of VFC is still growing around the world.

Starting in the late ‘90s, the Holy Spirit began indicating a major change of direction when Pastor Bill founded Armada International, an association of ministers and churches, and a carrier of the anointing for the next move of God. The full purpose of this move became more clear in 2015 when the Lord directed a complete restructuring of Victory Fellowship into an Acts 2, 21st century church. Like the earliest church in Acts, we now meet primarily in house churches; small, family gatherings where genuine spiritual growth comes from relational faith. The primary emphasis is squarely upon family relationships where each member participates, contributes, and receives personal ministry. Our house churches are networked together across cities and also meet regularly in a larger group. The house churches provide an optimal environment for discipling believers and for outreach to the world.

Armada Church Network is the realization of God’s heart for His body in the days we live in. We are thrilled about the future as we experience the love of God in relationship with Him and with one another and as we bring the good news to those who need to experience the vast goodness of the Father.
